The problem
Sentient had two things running at once: a token to make legible and a Season 2 push that needed an audience on X. Both were pointed at people who do not read whitepapers. Short-form was the way to reach them, which meant explaining an AI protocol to a feed that gives you two seconds to land the idea.
What we did
We ran one month as four coordinated content types rather than one. Paid set the floor. UGC carried the volume. Micro-UGC reached the niches the larger accounts miss. Clipping recut the material that already worked and put it back into circulation. The angle that held all of it together was Sentient against Big Tech, which turned a technical product into a fight a scroller could follow.
- Paid / 17 posts: Bought placements carried the core message and set the reach floor for the month.
- Micro-UGC / 11 posts: Smaller accounts used to reach pockets of the audience the larger creators do not touch.
- UGC / 34 posts: The largest block of the campaign. Creators made the argument in their own words and their own formats.
- Clipping / 23 posts: Cuts pulled from the material that performed and pushed back out to keep the angle in rotation.
What happened
- 1.3M — estimated views
- 85 — coverage pieces published
- ~3K — users driven to get $SENT
- ~1K — TikTok viewers moved to X in ~1.5 weeks
The 85 posts reached a total audience of 2.75M and produced 20.83K engagements. The strongest single creator did roughly 42.6K views on the Sentient versus Big Tech angle. On views: a meeting recap cited a higher number that counted channel reach. We publish the lower end-of-campaign figure, because that is the one the report stands behind.
